The Client Eligibility Specialist, under close supervision, conducts eligibility interviews and financial updates with clients, screens clients for AHCCCS and other eligible benefits, completes, submits, and follow up on AHCCCS applications, makes appropriate referrals to DES, SSI, and SSDI, completes non-clinical intake paperwork with clients, performs data entry tasks relative to the eligibility function, prepares eligibility related reports as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred. Prefer:
two years experience working with clients in a medical environment, one
year data entry experience, previous experience with insurance, contract, and
managed care clients
