The Client Eligibility Specialist completes non-clinical intake paperwork with clients, performs data entry tasks relative to the eligibility function, prepares eligibility related reports as needed, screens clients for AHCCCS and other eligible benefits, completes, submits, and follow up on AHCCCS applications, checks benefits for commercial insurance plans and performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience with insurance and benefit verification, experience working with clients in a Behavioral Health or Primary Care medical environment, data entry experience preferred
