Exciting opportunity to help provide counseling services to the Havasupai Nation that resides in the Grand Canyon. Individual must have experience serving a wide variety of individuals to include children and adults of all ages. Experience providing trauma informed services, substance use disorder services, and bereavement and loss, and crisis services is preferred, as well as cultural competency in working with individuals of Native American decent. Individual will also provide initial SMI Determination screenings. This can be a part time position that will provide services one week a month, with the potential to increase to 2 weeks per month or a full-time position working part-time with the Nation and the rest of the time with Spectrum. Must be extremely flexible in service delivery and have an access to care mindset. Housing, transportation into the canyon, and per diem allotment for cost of meals will be provided. Independent licensure preferred but will consider other qualified applicants.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Education/Licensure: Minimum - I: Master Degree in a behavioral health field; Preferred - II: Licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners; III: Independent Licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners. Experience (all position levels): Preferred: 2 years , full-time, post-Master's, supervised experience in a behavioral health setting
