The Direct Support Provider coordinates and collaborates with primary therapists, families and other agencies to work with at-risk children.
This position provides and documents: living skills, family support, case management and transportation services as described on the child's Behavioral Health Service plan.
The Direct Support Provider assists parents, the child and school personnel with behavior planning and implementation in a variety of settings.
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum two years recent experience in working with children and their families.
Experience working with children with mental health issues
Training in behavior management
