The PCT/Medical Assistant is a key part of the success of our integrated healthcare sites and we have position openings at our Phoenix clinic. This individual provides support to the providers, including preparing examination rooms, rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures and lab testing, injections, intravenous fluids, and draws, normal call backs, face-to-face monitoring of patients, monitoring medical equipment in addition to administrative functions. The PCT/Medical Assistant participates in quality improvement activities as needed, and performs other duties as assigned while maintaining the highest level of patient care.
This PCT/Medical Assistant is a full-time, non-exempt, hourly position working Monday through Friday business hours (some flexibility may be offered).
The Crisis Response Specialist jumps into action, responding to calls from CRN, law enforcement, and first responders. They perform crisis assessments in the community and ED, create safety plans, and coordinate care—keeping clients safe and supported. Working closely with first responders, supervisors, and families, they navigate complex situations with calm, professional expertise. They also handle Title 36 applications and use knowledge of local resources and insurance to ensure clients get the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

The Care Manager, under professional supervision, coordinates treatment activity, participates in client staffing, implements treatment
plans, provides rehabilitation services, provides general health care management activities, and maintains client records. As healthcare
reform advances and health homes become the norm, behavioral health Care Managers are required to expand their capacity in
healthcare navigation, build on existing skills in behavior health change, and gain a better understanding of the common health
problems and basic interventions for individuals with mental illness and those with chronic health problems.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Care Managers must be a Behavioral Health Technician. At Spectrum, a BHT has: Minimum of a high school diploma and at least 2
years of behavioral health experience (may be combined educational and work experience). OR, An individual with a bachelor’s degree
(any) and at least 1 year experience in behavioral health. OR, An individual with a bachelor’s degree in a human services related field.
OR, An individual who completes a behavioral Health Technician training program through an educational institution. OR, An individual
with a master’s degree in a human services related field and is not licensed.
One year of Behavioral Health experience preferred.
For High Needs Care Managers: two years as a care manager and a bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field, or an
equivalent combination of experience and education preferred. Required training for position if not completed at time of hire, must be
completed within 6 months of selection.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Maintains established agency policies and procedures, confidentiality standards, performance improvement initiatives, safety,
environment of care, productivity standards, management of information, and infection control standards.
2. Always utilizes excellent customer service skills.
3. Complies with federal and state law, accrediting and licensing agencies at all times, to include but not limited to federal
compliance regulations.
4. Provides clinically appropriate supportive counseling to individuals in need, and documents appropriately using the
DIAP format in individuals' medical record.
5. Interacts with clients and staff in a culturally competent manner that considers factors such as age, developmental or acquired
disabilities, religion and spiritual orientation, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, indigenous heritage, national
origin, gender, and gender identity.
6. Assessments: Under supervision, completes initial assessments and reassessments in compliance with documentation
guidelines.
7. Treatment plans: Under supervision develops implements treatment plan and treatment plan updates in compliance with
documentation guidelines.
8. Ability to document and present treatment interventions and care management so that progress and diagnostic issues are all
clear, understandable, and relate to treatment plan goals.
9. Obtains and analyzes information necessary for care coordination and implements coordination activities with departmental
staff, physicians, state/community, case management coordinators, and other resource agencies as required.
10. Complies with federal, state, RBHA, and payer standards and guidelines.

12. Enhances professional growth and keeps informed of evidence-based practices in behavioral health field related to populations
served and modalities used to include working knowledge of DSM 5, and its criteria for mental health disorders.
13. Always conducts self in professional manner; is cooperative and flexible with team members and management; adheres to
ethical professional standards.
14. Participates in utilization review and performance improvement activities, as assigned.
15. Participates and attends meetings as required or assigned.
16. Maintain Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record.
17. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

For High Needs Care Managers
19. Provides High Needs Case Management services to adults and children enrolled in the behavioral-health system who meet the
criteria for high needs including Seriously Mental Ill (SMI).
20. Provides weekly contact with assigned clients, which includes home/community visits, attending medication checks, etc.
21. Assists adults and youth in navigating admission and then discharge from hospitals, jails or any other out of home treatment
placement, in finding intensive services as clinically indicated, and working to decrease behaviors to improve stability in the
home & community.
22. Coordinates services and collaborates with other involved agencies, such as Department of Child Safety (DCS), Probation/
Parole Departments, Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), schools, and other providers.
23. Coordinates and facilitates Child & Family Team (CFT) and Adult Recovery Team(ART) meetings.
24. Completes referrals, prior authorizations, and other paperwork required by the health plans to enroll clients in services.
25. Collaborates with clinical team to ensure that Integrated Service Plans, CFT/ART Meeting notes, and all required paperwork is
completed accurately and in a timely manner.
26. Works with clinical team to transfer clients to the appropriate level of case management for that client.
27. Other duties as assigned.

JOB SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Provides clinically appropriate care management activities including coordination of behavioral and physical
healthcare with Primary Care and Psychiatric Providers, both internal and external.
• Basic understanding of common health problems and interventions (i.e. obesity, smoking, nutrition, health
promotion/wellness) and demonstration of skills in behavior health change.
• Understanding of coordination of physical healthcare (fluency and demonstration)
• Ability to navigate healthcare system.
• Able to demonstrate skills in behavioral health change.
• Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive and clinically appropriate crisis assessment and intervention
activities.
• Intermediate knowledge of DSM V diagnostic criteria and demonstrated ability to present clinical case presentation
and signs/symptoms of a mental illness diagnosis.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS

In addition, employees must: be at least 18 years old. All direct care and client-facing staff must be able to obtain a Level 1
fingerprint card and must maintain current American Heart Association approved CPR/First Aid certification for healthcare providers.

The Court Ordered Treatment Liaison is responsible for facilitating communication with case managers or other stakeholders to monitor client’s compliance with court recommendations and progress in treatment. Liaison prepares written reports for program management and/or other parties regarding the status of client’s compliance with court ordered treatment, and to assist with determination if court ordered treatment will be continued or is completed. This position works closely with leadership and community partners, including law enforcement, first responders, and hospital staff, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
The ACRS conducts comprehensive crisis assessments, develops safety plans, provides follow-up support, and connects clients to appropriate resources. The role requires strong clinical judgment, advanced de-escalation skills, and the ability to manage complex, high-risk cases independently.
Candidates must meet Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) requirements and have at least three years of experience as a Crisis Response Specialist. General Scope of Work
Under the supervision of the Facilities and Fleet Supervisor, the Facilities Maintenance and Custodial Technician (FMCT) supports the upkeep, safety, and cleanliness of company properties. This role performs routine maintenance, minor repairs, inspections, and cleaning to ensure facilities, equipment, and vehicles remain in good working condition. Responsibilities include coordinating repairs, scheduling service, maintaining records, and responding to maintenance requests. The FMCT also helps organize supplies and ensures compliance with safety and infection control standards. When custodial staff are unavailable, this position assists with cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
