Are you passionate about helping individuals overcome substance use and mental health challenges? Momentum is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Recovery Coach II to join our residential treatment team. In this role, you will provide direct support to residents, promote a safe and structured recovery environment, and serve as a mentor to newer staff members while making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

What You'll Do
As a Recovery Coach II, you will:
- Support residents with daily living activities and recovery goals.
- Build positive, therapeutic relationships with individuals in treatment.
- Facilitate educational, recreational, and life skills groups.
- Assist with resident admissions, intake interviews, and treatment planning.
- Monitor resident behavior, safety, and treatment plan compliance.
- Provide supportive counseling under clinical supervision.
- Recognize and respond to behavioral health crises using de-escalation techniques.
- Coordinate care with internal teams and outside providers.
- Complete accurate documentation and maintain resident records.
- Transport residents to appointments and community activities.
- Assist with medication observation under nursing supervision.
- Perform vital signs, breathalyzer testing, and urine drug screenings.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic residential environment.
- Mentor and assist with onboarding new Recovery Coaches.
- Participate in team meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing training.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following:
- High school diploma or GED plus 4 years of behavioral health experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in any field plus 3 years of behavioral health experience; or
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field plus 2 years of behavioral health experience; or
- Completion of a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) training program plus 2 years of behavioral health experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a residential substance use disorder treatment program.
- Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) certification.
- Experience with case management or care coordination.
- Previous mentoring or training experience.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented care and 12-Step principles.
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR/EMR) systems.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
