The Medical Office Assistant is a key part of the success of our integrated healthcare site. This individual must have a high level of customer service to engage with Spectrum clients, vendors and staff. In this role, the Medical Office Assistant will greet and register patients according to office protocol, and assist them with completing all necessary documentation including medical insurance. This individual also ensures that patient information is accurate including billing information and maintaining patient records which is critical for us to appropriately serve our clients and effectively bill for services. As the front-line representative, the Medical Office Assistant will set the tone for the patient experience by answering and coordinating incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, collecting co-pays and payments, and coordinating print requisitions and orders. This individual will ensure that our reception area is inviting by keeping it clean and welcoming to our guests. The Medical Assistant/PCT & BHPP role includes facilitating physical health, behavioral health care in the home, community and office utilizing virtual medical and behavioral health supports. The Medical Assistant/PCT and BHPP provides care management activities and supportive counseling to clients. This position is responsible for providing rapid access to care for requesting patients.

The Medical Assistant/Patient Care Technician & BHPP is a full-time or part-time, non-exempt, hourly position working Monday through Friday business hours (some flexibility may be offered).


The Crisis Response Specialist, under professional supervision, accepts direct calls from Community Response Network (CRN), law enforcement, first responders and supervisors for prompt community response on a flexible schedule that may include providing client transport to medically necessary services and well checks.

Crisis Response Specialist is able to perform crisis assessments in the community and ED, has strong verbal and written clinical skills, is able to staff cases for inpatient and safe plans with BHMP's and supervisors. Able to work closely with law enforcement, first responders, persons receiving crisis services and their supports under stressful situations at all hours in a professional and calm manor. Crisis Response Specialist is able to write Title 36 applications, has broad knowledge of A.R.S., area resources, funding streams and insurances to either place clients in community with supports, in network or other hospitals according to the level of care needed.
