Spectrum Healthcare Group is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team. You'll play an important role behind the scenes by helping keep our financial operations accurate, organized, and running smoothly. While our clinicians care for our communities, you'll help ensure the financial health of the organization that makes it all possible.

What You'll Be Doing

Keep our books accurate by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
Support month-end and year-end close processes.
Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and cash activity.
Analyze financial data, investigate discrepancies, and solve accounting challenges.
Prepare reports and audit documentation that keep us organized and compliant.
Track fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Partner with teams across the organization to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and special finance projects.
Support other accounting and finance functions as needed.

What You Bring

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Two to five years of accounting experience.
Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
Experience with ERP or accounting software. NetSuite experience is a plus.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bonus Points

Healthcare accounting experience.
Experience with revenue cycle, managed care, fee-for-service, medical claims, or provider payments.
Experience supporting financial audits.
CPA or currently pursuing your CPA.
