Child and Family Therapist I

As part of the kids’ team, you will work closely with co-workers to provide quality care to our clients.

You must be comfortable working independently as well as working with a team in a fast-paced environment.

Therapists provide individual, group and family therapy in a variety of settings, You will also participate in client's staffing, coordinate client care, develop and implement treatment plans, facilitate clinical team processes, provide clinically appropriate risk assessment and clinical crisis intervention services, maintain client records, and perform other duties as assigned such as Intensive Care Manager responsibilities.

Starting at $65,000 depending on experience 

Key Responsibilities & Skills:

  • Deliver therapeutic services (individual, family, and group)
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and treatment planning
  • Provide case management and care coordination
  • Perform crisis intervention and risk assessment
  • Maintain clinical documentation and productivity standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and community resources
  • Demonstrate cultural competence and ethical practice
  • Recognize and respond to mental health symptoms and emergencies
  • Support clients in accessing services and achieving treatment goals

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a behavioral health field
  • Knowledge of child and adolescent development and family systems
  • Familiarity with DSM criteria and psychotropic medications
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Licensure by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Examiners preferred.
