EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a Master's Degree in Healthcare Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Finance, OR an advanced degree within a behavioral health/healthcare discipline.
5-10+ years as Executive Director/C-suite in integrated or BH nonprofit with full P&L accountability and value-based care exposure.? Expertise in managing annual budget of $30M.
Execute on timely access, standardized care pathways, enhanced care management, and improved data informatics and population health management tied to quality and HEDIS outcomes.
Demonstrated strengths in: Change leadership, financial turnaround/stabilization, payer contract negotiation, RFPs/grants, and leading multidisciplinary teams.?
Culturally responsive leadership, experience advancing workforce engagement, equity, and a culture of accountability and transparency.
POSITION CORE COMPETENCIES
Experience leading the mission and vision of SHG's integrated BH-primary care programs that support individuals in need of services and support.
Develop and administer an annual budget that aligns with SHG mission and needs;
Track record with budget management, cash flow stabilization, payer contract negotiations, value based arrangements, and revenue integrity.
Implement SHG's annual strategic plan ensuring key performance indicators are met across the 12 month performance period.
Ability to use data informatics and population health tools to improve financial targets, quality, outcomes, and agency HEDIS performance.
Conduct contract negotiations with health plans and other potential partners.
Develop and maintain funding, responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for State, County or Federal contracts and actively pursue other sources of program support to assure SHG has a stable and diversified operating budget.
Represent the agency in all interactions with funding sources and ensure timely updates as it relates to any upcoming changes in the public and/or private sector that may affect agency's funding sources.
Ensures the implementation of high quality, cost-effective programming that drives operational excellence.
Ability to build and retain a senior leadership team, support multidisciplinary team-based care, and set productivity expectations without eroding morale.
Ensure oversight of SHG as a trusted brand and established market presence in social media, news media, and public relations.
Ensure that SHG is in compliance with relevant state and federal laws, regulations and with standard accounting procedures.
Establish community presence and strengthen community strategic partnerships through public presentations and by attending relevant business events, conferences and gatherings.
Work with Board of Directors to support and maintain an active and committed membership.
Meet individual and organizational goals established by the Board.
Clearly communicate the needs of the agency to the Board both verbally and in written reports and data, to enable the Board to carry out its responsibilities.
Contribute to the achievement of agency cultural competency and contribute to a working environment that promotes opportunities for retention, engagement, development, advancement and growth.
Participate on local, regional, and state committees, councils, advocacy groups, advisory boards having relevance to the work and strategic vision of the agency.
Sign and execute legal documents, deeds, mortgages and instruments as authorized by the Board.
BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must be Arizona based, can work remote, but able to travel up to 50% in-state and up to 10% out of state.
Advanced knowledge of Office Suite and Excel.
Frequently sit for long periods of time, frequently move from one location to another

Ability to work under strict time constraints, work under possible emergent situations, prioritize workload
