What You’ll Do

  • Provide supportive, clinically appropriate counseling to individuals in need
  • Conduct assessments and assist in developing and updating treatment plans (under supervision)
  • Document care using DIAP format with clarity and accuracy
  • Coordinate care with internal teams, physicians, and community resources
  • Deliver services with cultural competence, respect, and professionalism
  • Uphold all policies, safety standards, and confidentiality requirements
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation guidelines
  • Maintain excellent customer service in every interaction

What You Bring

To qualify as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you must meet one of the following:

  • High school diploma + 2 years of behavioral health experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (any field) + 1 year of behavioral health experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a human services-related field
  • Completion of a Behavioral Health Technician training program
  • Master’s degree in a human services-related field (not licensed)

Preferred: At least 1 year of behavioral health experience
