We are seeking two candidates (second shift regular full-time and a "pool" resource position to work with our behavioral health clients. The Behavioral Health Worker, under professional supervision, accepts life skills educational assignments from Supervisor or other designated personnel, participates in client staffings, develops and implements living skills training assignments according to frequency and intensity determined on the current treatment plan, coordinates these assignments with case management activities, maintains client progress notes for interventions assigned to them, and performs other duties as assigned. Behavioral Health Worker may also be a SOAR Social Security benefits specialist via certification through on online SAMHSA training to help clients in dire need qualify for entitlements.
Associates Degree OR High School Diploma/GED AND 6 weeks behavioral health work experience; or 6 weeks continuous on-site direction from a behavioral health professional, Behavioral Health Technician or Behavioral Health Paraprofessional who has at least 6 months behavioral health work experience.
Bachelor degree in behavioral health field.
